The science behind it
What is Bio-Well?
Bio-Well is an instrument developed by Dr. Konstantin Korotkov, Professor at St. Petersburg State Technical University. It applies a brief, extremely low-current electromagnetic pulse to each of the ten fingers and captures the resulting light emission — the corona discharge — with a high-resolution CCD camera. The pulse lasts ten millionths of a second and is not felt.
The software then translates that data into a full-body map, reflecting the relative state of your organ zones, energy centres and nervous-system balance. The corona is a genuine physiological signal — it shifts with your skin's conductance, which is driven by your autonomic nervous system. What makes it useful is its speed and repeatability: a full scan takes under two minutes, requires no undressing, and produces a clear visual report you can track over time.

What produces a physiological effect is current, not voltage — and here the current is negligible. This is why a scan is felt as nothing at all. What is a Bio-Well scan, and what does it measure?
It uses Gas Discharge Visualisation (GDV) to capture the corona discharge emitted by your fingertips when exposed to a brief electromagnetic pulse. That corona shifts with your skin's conductance, which is driven by your autonomic nervous system — so the report reflects your energy distribution, stress level and nervous-system state. A scan takes only a few minutes, with no needles, no preparation, and no contact beyond placing your fingers on the scanner one at a time.
Is the electrical pulse safe? What does 3,000 volts mean?
The 3,000 V figure describes the voltage at the electrode surface, not energy delivered into your body — and it is the number most often misunderstood. Two things put it in proportion: the pulse lasts ten microseconds, and what determines whether an electrical stimulus has any effect is current, not voltage — and here the current is negligible. In practice, people feel nothing. Static from a car door involves far higher voltages.
Can a Bio-Well scan detect burnout or stress?
Bio-Well reflects the functional state of your autonomic nervous system — the part that regulates your stress response without your conscious input. In people experiencing burnout, scans often show energy imbalance, reduced left/right coherence, and elevated activation in stress-response areas. It gives a concrete, visual picture of what the body is carrying, which makes it a useful reflective and early-awareness tool — not a diagnosis.
How is this different from a medical test?
Bio-Well is not a diagnostic medical device and does not replace medical examination or treatment. Where medical tests measure structural or biochemical markers, Bio-Well reflects a functional signal — how your system is regulating itself in the moment. It is a complementary reflection tool within an integrative practice, not a substitute for clinical assessment.
Who is Bio-Well suitable for?

What is the Bio-Cor, and how is it different from the scanner?
If the Bio-Well is the measuring side, the Bio-Cor is the responding side. It takes the energy-centre data from your scan and converts it into a personalised audio file, listened to through headphones while a small emitter rests on the forehead, producing extremely low-intensity fields in the 40–43 GHz range. It can also run on its own with pre-programmed frequencies. It is a wellness tool, not a treatment device.
